Katherine Nieweglowski PhD, LPC, CRC
Staff Therapist

If you exhibit perfectionistic, people-pleasing, or hyper-independent tendencies, struggle with general uncertainty and career stress, or live with physical disability/chronic illness, we can work on confidence building, stress-tolerance, emotional regulation, decision-making, improving relationships, and exploring identity. Identity work can address the impact of family roles, health/ability, age, queerness, cultural background, work/education, and social life. I have a special interest in working with healthcare professionals and (under)graduate students. My experience is informed by a decade-long career in mental health research.

My approach is depth-oriented, focused on identifying the roots of your issues and understanding patterns. I examine how these patterns show up in the therapy space. We will work well together if you are focused on long-term change rather than short-term solutions. This calls for vulnerability and willingness to develop insight about various life areas.

I am a non-judgmental and compassionate therapist who meets you wherever you are in your journey. If you want a therapist who understands how to be gentle and measured, but also someone who is not afraid to challenge you to grow, then I encourage you to reach out.
